Estimated trophy difficulty: 7/10 (personal opinion).At the end of this step, you should have your plat. This will take about 20hrs and all you need is a rubber band to wrap around the controller to allow the car to drive. You can auto grind the trophy using either the x2010 or x2011 on the Special Stage Route X track.
The final thing you'll have left is the 8000 miles trophy. If you still don't have 300 stars, now is the time to go and finish the rest of those up. This will set you back a few hundred thousand credits on that car, but it'll get you the trophy quicker. The best way to do this is to just get any car from your garage and buy it nitrous, engine tuning stage 3 and weight reduction stage 3.
You should have already spent a lot of money on tuning in Step 1 so hopefully you won't need to spend much more in order to hit the 2 million needed for that particular trophy. They are also the cheapest car in the game to buy, costing only 5000 CR each. The best way to do it is to keep buying Go-Karts as these count towards the 100. Now you should have a lot of money, you can start buying cars towards the 100 car trophy. At the end of this step, you should have pretty much all of the trophies in the game, except for the 8000 miles, 100 cars, 2 million spent on tuning and maybe 300 stars trophies. Refer to the trophy guide for more info on these. There is no set route for what to do now and you can go for any trophy that you want. You need to finish all of them with at least a bronze trophy in order to get the respective trophies for each one. Step 2: Goodwood Hillclimb, Lunar missions and misc trophiesīoth the Goodwood Hillclimb events and Lunar missions can be found on the right hand side of the main menu. Depending on how many races you did and how many you won, you should be on around 200 stars. At the end of this step you'll have a good proportion of the trophies, you'll still be lacking most of the misc ones however. It costs 284,000 CR to buy so it's fairly cheap too. This will win you pretty much every race going, even the final championship in the International A series.

For most of the races I used the cars that are given to you for getting gold in license tests, then when things started getting difficult I bought the Corvette Z06 Race Car. Don't just leave them on a silver or a bronze, get gold before moving on as it'll save you time later for the same reason as above.
Also, you'll want to focus on getting gold in each of the license tests. You should be aiming for first place in all the races, this way you'll get the most stars from the race(s) and it'll save you time later on as you won't need to come back and replay races. The first thing you want to do is just go ahead and do these.

Step 1: Complete all the racing series (Novice, National B, National A, International B, International A) All in all though, the plat is fairly easy.

You need to complete full lap time trials for those and there is really no room for error. There is nothing that hard in the game, the only thing that will prove to be a little difficult is the S License. You'll finish the game on around 2000 so you'll have to grind the rest of them which is very boring and time consuming. This time round though the plat is only going to take you about 50hrs and that is mainly due to the 8000 miles driven trophy. The platinum is a cake walk compared to GT5, which would set you back around 600hrs. The game is great for any Gran Turismo fan as it stays true to the series. The game has more tracks this time round and 100 more cars, with a lot more standard cars being made premium. It's still the standard sim racer as per GT5, but this time the driving mechanics have been retuned and so have a lot of other things like aerodynamics.

The Gran Turismo series has returned and it will be one of the last PS3 exclusive games too, as GT6 will not be coming to the PS4.
